Shipping Policy
At Solid Three Way, we pride ourselves on building substantial, high-fidelity speakers. Because our cabinets are constructed from premium MDF and feature heavy-duty driver magnets, our products are significantly heavier than standard consumer electronics. This policy outlines how we get them to you safely.
1. Processing Times
In-Stock Orders: Orders placed before 12:00 PM (Time Zone) Monday–Friday are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Freight Orders: Larger systems (e.g., floor-standing pairs) may require freight scheduling. Please allow an additional 24–48 hours for carrier coordination.
Tracking: You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your label is generated. Note that tracking may take up to 24 hours to update in the carrier's system.
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We use a combination of Ground and Freight services depending on the weight of your order:
Standard Ground (UPS/FedEx): Used for bookshelf speakers, studio monitors, and accessories.
LTL Freight: Used for large floor-standing speakers or orders exceeding [e.g., 100 lbs].
Signature Requirement: To protect your investment, all orders over $500 require a direct signature upon delivery.
3. Important: Freight & Curbside Delivery
For larger items shipped via Freight:
Curbside Only: Unless "White Glove" service is selected and paid for at checkout, deliveries are Curbside Only. The driver will lower the pallet to the curb or driveway. They are not insured to enter your home, climb stairs, or unbox the product.
Assistance Required: We strongly recommend having a second person available to help you move the boxes indoors.
4. Shipping Costs
Domestic: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
International: We ship internationally to select countries. Please Note: The customer is responsible for all import duties, VAT, and customs taxes. These are not included in the shipping price and will be collected by the carrier upon delivery.
5. Inspection & Damages (Crucial)
Because speakers are heavy and fragile, damage can happen.
Inspect Immediately: You must inspect the outer packaging while the driver is still present.
Visible Damage: If the box looks crushed, punctured, or wet, you must Write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt before signing, or refuse the shipment entirely.
Hidden Damage: If the box looked fine but the speaker is damaged inside, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Photos of the box and the damage will be required for insurance claims.
Failure to report damage within this window may result in the denial of a warranty claim.
6. Change of Address
Due to the speed of our fulfillment and fraud protection measures, we cannot change the shipping address once an order has left our facility. If you need to reroute a package, carrier fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
7. Undeliverable Packages
If a carrier returns a package to us because you were unavailable to sign or provided an incorrect address:
We will refund your order minus the original shipping cost and a return shipping fee.
If you want the item re-shipped, you will be responsible for the new shipping charges.
